Virginia is happy to welcome all new patients, especially those who embrace proactive healthcare. She believes her role in your personal journey to pain free living is to provide education and positive reinforcement. Every one of us is born with the innate ability to heal ourselves, but that healing does not always go smoothly. Sometimes the body needs a little help, a gentle reminder, and some assistance to find its way back to pain free movement. Virginia says, “Massage therapy is encouragement to reconnect mind and body.” She is confident that when it comes to the treatment room, “We are partners on your path to recovery.”

As a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy Program at Vancouver Career College in Burnaby, Virginia has been trained to address:

  • Muscle tension
  • Joint discomfort
  • Reduced range of motion
  • Stress-related illness
  • Recent and previous injury
  • Preparation for, and recovery from surgical procedures

Prior to becoming an RMT, Virginia was a Red Seal chef for over a decade, giving her first-hand experience regarding the physical effects of long hours in a high stress work environment with very little recovery time. Through her own personal journey, she has developed a special interest in chronic pain and fascia with additional training in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/muscle-pain-it-may-actually-be-your-fascia
