Tammy Timms is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in private practice. She is available to work with mothers and their infants to help them reach their breastfeeding goals.

Tammy has worked in a variety of health care settings for 20 years, helping families to care for their infants and learning to breastfeed. She has a Diploma in Nursing from St. Boniface School of Nursing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In addition to this, she has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria. Furthermore, she holds a Neonatal Specialty Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. And she has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2001.

Tammy is able to meet with you in the comfort of your home, providing knowledge, guidance, and expertise in helping you reach your breastfeeding goals.

Tammy also works in the acute care setting and the community setting. As well as instructing a course for Health Care Providers in teaching breastfeeding. She is a member of the BC Lactation Consultant’s Association and the non-profit, South Vancouver Breastfeeding Matters Group. In addition, she is a member of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Breastfeeding Committee.

Tammy is also the mother of three wonderful children.
